In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, George holds an AB in Mathematics and Economics and an MBA. After receiving his MBA, George worked for Coopers and Lybrand, an international public accounting firm for three years and in the construction industry for one year. In 1990, he opened a public accounting firm in Webster, New Hampshire. He maintained his own practice until 2005 when he and Tyler Simms formed Hashem and Simms, PLLC.
George’s education and strong background in both corporate and public accounting has provided him with a wide variety experiences in the accounting field. He has extensive experience regarding both individual and business tax matters. His experience includes financial statement audits of public and private companies, design of accounting systems and internal controls, advising on the purchase, sale, and start up of a business, tax preparation, and tax planning.
George is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The New Hampshire Society of Accountants. George is on the Board of Directors of The New Hampshire Society of Accountants and is an advisor to the Board of Directors of the non-profit Kearsarge Assets Network, Inc. George was a member of the Merrimack Valley School District School Board from 1992-2001, where he chaired the Finance Committee.
George lives in Webster, NH with his wife, Elaine ,and his two children Sarah and Rebecca. George currently serves as a Webster Town Selectman.

In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Tyler holds a BS in Accounting. For five years, Tyler worked for Bigelow and Company, a full-service New Hampshire accounting firm. At Bigelow and Company, he worked for a large array of clients, ranging in size from multi-million dollar businesses to individuals. Tyler has experience ranging from audits, write-up services, year-end tax planning, business tax preparation, and individual tax preparation.
Tyler is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The New Hampshire Society of Accountants.
